04/07/2007 - TK participates in Kent College Activity Day
Today had James and Andrew up at Kent College teaching nearly 60 Year 8 students how to fly powerkites in three groups over two hour sessions. The aim was to introduce Year 8s to traction kiting as part of their activity week and to generate interest for when they come back from summer holidays to learn kite sports properly over a full term one afternoon a week.
Everyone had a fantastic time and thanks to the support of Tim, Carol and Dan who organised everything at the school, allowing James and Andrew to turn up and teach and have some extra hands to help control all the kids.
