01/07/2004 - Slider Event Announcement
We've now picked our dates so start getting some riding in!
The Paracademy schools are hosting a BKSA-endorsed event on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of September at Portland Harbour [home of the world famous speed week]. The event is featuring a change from the normal Freestyle competition.
The format we are using is an open free-riding and "skate-park" style event including sliders and ramps which will receive extra weighting from the judges if used. International notables will be attending including the legenday Chris Calthrop, Fadi Issa and Aaron Hadlow as part of the Flexifoil Demo Team not to mention all of the British Grand Prix competitors [men and women] who will be competing as well.
Prize purse is estimated to be £6000 at this stage so don't miss out - either come down to ride or else come down to watch to see probably the most interesting New School event in 2004.
