31/10/2004 - Drew leaves for the sunshine but not before causing havoc
Many of the locals and students will know about Drew's recent run of misfortune but we thought what better way to send him off to the sunny Philippines [bastard!] for the winter than to let everyone know about it.
It could happen to anyone, but unfortuantely for Drew, all of these things happened to him in only a week.
First he lost his board whilst going for a ride - he dropped his kite, did a pack down and his board was nowhere to be found. After that he had Andrew out chasing a kite at sunset all the way up the Swale which he'd lost because his leash ripped off his wrist. Not learning the leash lesson he then did it two days later again and had Andrew riding off down wind on a school kite and board chasing down another kite!
Well Drew, as I say, it could happen to anyone. Have a nice trip mate and we'll see you next Spring.
