08/10/2004 - Showing off for the Aussies
A beautiful northerly day - not that we say that too often as the wind cuts straight through you. The local boys, Mark and brothers Dean and Simon weren't going to let the beginners have all the fun though. Co-incidentally, Andrew's mum and dad had come for a visit all the way from Oz and hadn't properly seen what this kitesurfing thing was all about.
Well the local lads put on a good showing for the "olds" so now they can go away a bit more enlightened about what the sport is about. Andrew's dad also managed to snap some moody photos on his very bling digital camera. You can see some of them in the gallery here
