Learning to fly a power kite properly gives you the fundamental skills needed for any of the other disciplines as well as being loads of fun itself.
Once mastered you can use the kite for traction to "scud" you over the field or beach or even use it to jump into the sky!

About this course
This short course is designed to get you started in traction kiting whilst still having loads of fun at the same time. No matter where you end up, whether it be land, sea or snow, all kite sports need the same fundamental flight skills.
Conducted over three hours in either a morning or afternoon session on a weekend, the introductory session will take you through the basic fight of a foil traction kite.
After showing you how to set the kite up and a short safety briefing in order for you to learn how to safely control and release the kite, you will then proceed to the flying stage.
During the session you will alternate between "handles" and "bar" setup for flying, so you will get to try out the two most popular methods of kite control and start to hone your skills.
