Kite Land Boarding
A new board sport in it's own right and very fast growing
Land boarding is the newest of the kite boarding disciplines but it is certainly catching up fast to kite surfing and snow kiting. Seeing what was going on on the sea and the snow, it didn't take long for a few mountain boarders to find a field, grab a kite and start playing around and now Kite Land Boarding is a sport in its own right with competitions and clubs.
Doing it all safely is where we come in and at Transition Kiteboarding we have a large area which works in all wind directions and is big enough to practice on. Located between Whitstable and Canterbury in Kent it is only 40 minutes from London which makes it the closest center and the only one in Kent.
Land Board Taster Day
An introduction to the land boarding discipline - we give you a short safety briefing and get you familiarised with the equipment then it is off to the field to have some fun. We'll get you started learning to control the traction kites we use for power getting you to "scud" on the grass. Once your kite skills are getting honed we'll then get you onto your boards for your first runs.

Landboarding 2-day beginner course
This is the full kite landboarding course that we offer, which is designed to make you self-sufficient. The course is two days long and will cover a range of subjects, though the majority is spent flying, developing your new kite and board skills.
