About this course
The Kite Surfing Assistant Instructor Course is two days long and is designed to be a practical, "hands on" course, giveing you the first taste and experience of what it is to be a kite surfing instructor.
The course has a mix of live teaching practice, where you will be teaching students the first part of their IKO Level 1 syllabus, and instructor sessions where you will work on your teaching and presentation skills with the Trainer.
All this is designed to get you ready for the full Kitesurfing ITC for which this is a prerequisite.
Requirements
In order to come on the Assistant ITC, you will need to be at a minimum of IKO level 3. This includes all the basic kite surfing skills up to jumping, turning and riding up wind.

Please note that if you are already an instructor in another water sport such as an RYA instructor or a PADI instructor you do not need to complete this course - please take a look at our normal ITC page here for more info.
