Drew Sawyer
IKO/BKSA Instructor, Transition Senior Instructor
Drew has been part of Transition since late 2003 where he was one of the first instructor candidates to complete the Cyprus ITC. Since then he has been a fixture at Transition affiliates, wintering in Boracay in the Philippines with Ocean Republic, one of our Global College schools and now starting his third full season at Whitstable.
Drew says: "I have been kiting for a few years now and plan to be doing it for many more years to come. It is a natural high that can be enjoyed at all levels. Riding across the ocean being propelled by the wind, is pure freedom with a large slice of adrenaline. Beats the gym anyday."
At the moment Drew can be found on the beach sportin a red "Best Kites" cap which he "borrowed" from his boss in the Philippines and when out on the water, a 15m Purple and Orange Slingshot Fuel - and still the same Red cap.
