About Transition Kiteboarding
Transition Kiteboarding is a privately owned company which operates in Whitstable, Kent. The company was established in 2003 in order to bring professional, high quality power kite sports training to the South East of England.
The company is part of an industry group known as the Paracademy Consortium. This goup of affiliated kitesurfing and kite sports companies are all independently owned and run however together we operate a code of ethics and procedures that puts safety before profit. The group of companies operates a standardised teaching system such that any instructor at any campus could teach a student each day and the result would be the same for the student at the end of their course.
Transition Kiteboarding was the first external campus to be set up outside of the National Traning Centre in Weymouth, Dorset which is also the Paracademy headquarters.
Together Paracademy and Transition Kiteboarding are the biggest teaching establishment for power kite related sports in the UK and one of the largest in the world. This it means we can get the best instructors, trained to the highest standards in the world for our students.
